Cyclists braved the weather for this years Savernake Sizzler - cycling in the rain is a true challenge physically and mentally, yet every rider we spoke with had a smile on their face at the end, even if they needed to get dry, warm and have a cuppa first,

Even though the weather put a lot of riders off, we still had 117 mad enough to ride - and raised over £80 for CALM with our cake sale. Some of the leftover food was able to be donated to Swindon Food bank too.
The free sports massages courtesy of Amanda Marsh Physiotherapy and Michele Gloss went down really well. Nick from Pewsey Velo did a great job helping riders with bike advice and mechanical issues and we also had Herbal Life and E-Motion come out too, sheltered under their gazebo's! The feedback has been brilliant and we're looking forward to doing it all again next year.
The rider who raises the most for charity get's a free cycling jersey from Rule#18 so don't forget to let us know about your fundraising efforts - no matter how small.
